Violinist, pedagogue, and luthier Stefan Marinescu unites the art of performance with the craftsmanship of traditional violin making. His experience as a musician allows him to create violins with soul, designed to respond to the needs and emotions of those who play them.
His work combines the Cremonese tradition with a contemporary perspective, respecting classical methods of construction and varnishing while always striving for acoustic perfection. Each instrument is the result of hours of listening, precision, and sensitivity — a unique creation where technique merges with the performer’s emotion.
In his workshop in Oleiros, Stefan Marinescu creates unique violins, crafted entirely by hand following the Cremonese tradition. Every corner of the space breathes concentration, respect for the raw material, and love for sound. Here, the wood finds its voice.

Inspired by the great Italian masters, Marinescu combines artisanal precision with the sensitivity of someone who knows the violin from within.
Each instrument is the result of a meticulous process, listened to and felt step by step, always seeking the perfect resonance between the performer and their sound.
